14 Submissions for the Professor Wallhäußer Award for Innovations in GMP and Pharmaceutical Technology 2025

Last year, the new Professor Wallhäußer Award for Innovations in GMP and Pharmaceutical Technology was presented for the first time. The focus is on improvements in sustainability, cost efficiency, technical innovation and the application of AI. The Prof. Wallhäußer Innovation Award is intended to recognise projects or technical solutions that stand out for their innovative strength and/or offer optimised practical solutions for the future. Winners can be individuals, a group of people, an organisation or a company.

This year, 14 entries were submitted for the award, which is endowed with 5,000 euros, from which a 13-member committee will select a winner. The following proposals were submitted this year:

  • The award ceremony will take place as part of the PharmaCongress 2025 on 8/09 April in Wiesbaden, which will once again feature around 100 presentations from the fields of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production, pharmaceutical technology, quality assurance and quality control.
